A leading environmental services provider is looking for an experienced and dynamic Recycling & Waste Operations Manager to lead and innovate their frontline waste services. This is an opportunity to take strategic and operational ownership of waste and recycling services for a large urban area, with a strong focus on sustainability, performance, and community impact.



What you'll do:



Lead the delivery of all waste collection, recycling, and disposal services

Drive efficiency, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement

Oversee large fleet and operational budgets

Inspire and manage a large workforce

Develop strategies to meet ambitious recycling and waste reduction targets



What we're looking for:



Proven experience managing large operational teams in waste, logistics or a similar environment

Strong leadership, project delivery, and performance management skills

Budget, resource, and asset management expertise

Health & Safety and regulatory compliance knowledge

Strategic thinker with a hands-on attitude

Desirable: Industry qualifications (e.g. WAMITAB, CPC, CIWM membership), and experience in commercial waste development.
