Operations Manager
Discovering Independence and Integration for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager of Connections NW is responsible for the overall management and
operation of the organization, including strategic planning, financial management, program
development, and staff management. This position requires a strong leader with experience in the
field of developmental disabilities and attendant care.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with the
- organization's mission, vision, and values
- Financial Management: Manage the organization's finances, including budget
- development, financial reporting, and fundraising
- Program Development: Oversee the development and implementation of programs and
- services that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities who require
- attendant care
- Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff members, including ensuring
- compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies,
- including HIPAA, OSHA, and state and federal regulations related to attendant care
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, including
- clients, families, staff members, community partners, and government agencies
- Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement
- processes to ensure the highest level of care for individuals with developmental
- disabilities
- Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to the Board of Directors, funders, and
- other stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, business) is required.
- Master's degree
- At least five years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and attendant care
- care
- At least three years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as an executive director
- or equivalent
- Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to attendant care
- and developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
- Strong financial management skills, including budget development and fundraising
- Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including clients, families, and staff
- members, community partners, and government agencies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
