Operations Manager

Discovering Independence and Integration for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities


Job Summary:


The Operations Manager of Connections NW is responsible for the overall management and

operation of the organization, including strategic planning, financial management, program

development, and staff management. This position requires a strong leader with experience in the

field of developmental disabilities and attendant care.


Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term strategic plans that align with the
  • organization's mission, vision, and values
  • Financial Management: Manage the organization's finances, including budget
  • development, financial reporting, and fundraising
  • Program Development: Oversee the development and implementation of programs and
  • services that meet the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities who require
  • attendant care
  • Staff Management: Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff members, including ensuring
  • compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies,
  • including HIPAA, OSHA, and state and federal regulations related to attendant care
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate positive relationships with stakeholders, including
  • clients, families, staff members, community partners, and government agencies
  • Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality assurance and improvement
  • processes to ensure the highest level of care for individuals with developmental
  • disabilities
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports to the Board of Directors, funders, and
  • other stakeholders


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, psychology, business) is required.
  • Master's degree
  • At least five years of experience in the field of developmental disabilities and attendant care
  • care
  • At least three years of experience in a leadership role, preferably as an executive director
  • or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to attendant care
  • and developmental disabilities
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
  • Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems
  • Strong financial management skills, including budget development and fundraising
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, including clients, families, and staff
  • members, community partners, and government agencies
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
