POSITION SUMMARY:
The Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing plant operations in Marquette, MI. This position is responsible for overseeing daily operations, optimizing processes, and managing resources to achieve operational excellence. The Operations Manager will lead a team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement while ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards. Additionally, this role will focus on cost control and reduction strategies to enhance profitability without compromising quality. Ultimately, the Operations Manager will contribute to the overall success of the organization by aligning operational goals with business objectives. This position is critical in helping Resolve Surgical Technologies maximize the number of patients served while maintaining a high level of quality and safety.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure that all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintains active involvement in employee selection, training and development. Performs related hiring, performance reviews, corrective actions, etc. for direct-line employees and provides strong oversight for employees reporting under supervisory staff, if applicable. Process area champion for employee safety and overall employee morale
- Implement and monitor workplace safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Develop and execute cost control and reduction strategies to improve operational profitability.
- Collaborate with other departments to align operational goals with overall business objectives.
- Supports and drives a continuous improvement culture in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Production, and Cost.
- Supports and achieves all targets for KPIs, such, but not limited to: non-conformances, corrective and preventive actions, and quality audits.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED AND/OR :
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required or equivalent years of experience.
- Master’s degree in Business or related field, .
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies, .
