Operations Manager – Recruitment Sector
Up to £60k plus bonus
Central London - 4 Days in Office
A well-established recruitment business is seeking a commercially minded Operations Manager to join its central London team. This is a key role within the organisation, offering the opportunity to take ownership of operational strategy and execution in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
The ideal candidate will bring 4+ years of experience in a finance-led operations role within the recruitment sector and will be comfortable managing both day-to-day operations and long-term process improvements.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Leading operations across finance, compliance, systems, and internal processes
- Partnering with leadership to support commercial performance and strategic planning
- Managing financial processes including invoicing, forecasting, reporting, and budget oversight
- Ensuring efficient use and optimisation of internal tools (ATS, CRM, timesheets, etc.)
- Overseeing compliance and contractor documentation across permanent and contract placements
- Supporting internal hiring, onboarding, and office management
- Identifying opportunities for automation and improved efficiency

- 4+ years’ experience in a finance-led operations role within the recruitment or staffing industry
- Strong financial literacy and comfort working with numbers and commercial data
- Excellent organisation and project management skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence across teams
- Comfortable working in a high-performance, fast-paced environment
