Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee all building-related activities. You will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure and ensuring that facilities are safe and well-functioning. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, proficient in managing multiple tasks, and possess a strong understanding of operations and facilities management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all building and grounds maintenance.
- Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly.
- Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment; comply with health, safety, and environmental standards and regulations.
- Manage facility services such as cleaning, waste disposal, catering, security, parking, etc.
- Oversee and coordinate refurbishments, renovations, and office moves.
- Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for services and repairs.
- Manage and review service contracts to ensure facility management needs are being met.
- Conduct and document regular facility inspections and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate and lead one or more teams to cover various areas of responsibility.
- Use performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate the achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement.
- Respond to emergency situations or other urgent issues involving the facility.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as an operations manager or in a relevant position.
- Well-versed in operations and facilities management best practices.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
- Good analytical/critical thinking.
- Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:
- Professional certification in operations/facilities management will be an advantage.
- Supervisory experience.
