This role anchors production success by directing Engineering, Extrusion, Maintenance, Tooling, and partnering closely with Quality. Your mandate: maximize output, strengthen OEE, and deliver to cost targets through smart capital deployment, disciplined maintenance, and strong technical leadership.
What success looks like
- Consistent production volume at plan levels or better.
- OEE improvement year-over-year, driven by equipment reliability and process capability.
- Capital projects delivered on time, on budget, and aligned to AOP.
- Full compliance with environmental and process safety programs.
- Measured gains in raw material efficiency.
Your responsibilities
- Lead Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality efforts to maximize production while achieving cost targets.
- Direct Extrusion and Tooling activities to support throughput and quality.
- Assure facilities and production equipment are properly maintained to sustain plant operations.
- Provide engineering support and resources that enable uninterrupted production.
- Coordinate the communication and rollout of manufacturing and technical initiatives.
Capital and budgets
- Manage the plant capital budget and the Engineering expense budget.
- Work with plant technical and operations teams to identify capital deployment opportunities.
- Own CAR preparation, submission, and coordination of all capital activities.
- Manage the AOP budget, including technical group salaries, building and grounds, maintenance materials, and utilities.
Compliance and safety
- Ensure site environmental compliance and actively support plant safety programs.
- Lead the RTO process.
- Own PSM, RMP, and Title V processes and programs.
People leadership
- Hire, administer salaries, and lead performance management, including disciplinary actions.
- Develop employees and build technical capabilities across the organization.
- Serve as Materials Manager for raw material efficiency.
