Never have the opportunities for a technical career been so limitless.The Engineering Operations Sr. Staff - Software will report directly to the Aeronautics Director of Combat Core Systems and will act as operations POC supporting the entire Combat Core Systems team. Position will be responsible for ensuring integration with Combat Systems and Engineering & Technology in the following areas:• Digital Transformation POC for coordination andreporting on DevSecOps, software factory andCI/CD for Combat Core Systems as well as integrationof supplier pipelines.• Coordination and implementation ofstandardized software tools in the DevSecOpsenvironment aligning with LM Aero standards.• Workforce management and planning to includeemployee development programs and LMFellows.• Drive favorable overhead charging throughproactive monitoring and remediation.• Integration of manpower forecasting/planningprovided by programs utilizing VEMO tool andapplicable Tableau Dashboards.• Act as POC for training, hiring, staffing andbudgeting actions in connection with E&Toperations.• Drive innovation and manage integrated budgetperformance on behalf of Combat Core Systems forStrategic Projects, Facilities Capital, Training andIT coordination using EVMS practices asappropriate.The successful Combat Core Systems OperationsSenior Staff is one that will demonstrate andexpand the organization’s culture ofaccountability, provide coaching and pursuecontinuous learning, and communicate with theintent to build and sustain high levels of team performance, ultimately delivering the desiredresults.The selected candidate must have the ability to obtain a secret clearance. Job Requirements: Basic Qualifications:• Prior experience leading some facet ofengineering or business operations and transformation.• Experience working in Agile softwaredevelopment• Experience managing budget, schedule, andtechnical issues.• Experience developing digital transformation software processes and organizations.Desired Skills:• Experience working DevSecOps environment• Demonstrated ability to build effectiverelationships across organizational levels andentities.• Strong executive and team level communicationskills - both written and verbal.• Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership skillsand behaviors.• Strong background in software developmentResource (manpower, capital, IT, etc.) planningand forecasting experience.• Avionics Core systems (i.e. Mission Computers, Displayes, etc.) hardware development experience• Supplier management experience• EVMS control account management training andexperience.• Experience with multiple different large avionic systems. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
