The ING Pricing Architecture (IPA) platform consists of multiple components that enable real-time and batch calculations of financial risk metrics and simulations (. XVA, PFE, Value at Risk, Expected Shortfall, Bilateral Margining, pre-deal derivatives Pricing) which are driven by new banking regulations as well as advanced Risk analysis on the derivative product portfolio of Financial Markets (interest rates, credits, foreign exchange). We seek an enthusiastic, passionate, solution-focused, experienced Operations Engineer for our in-house developed Pricing & Risk Component. With your passion for Financial Markets and engineering skills, you ensure and support a stable, secure and performing critical Financial Markets pricing and risk application. The team:This platform is in the heart of the IT landscape for our global dealing rooms and risk managers in Asia, Europe and Americas, with 7-9 scrum teams spread across 4 locations (Amsterdam, Brussels, Bucharest and Singapore), cooperating to evolve it towards target ING Financial Markets IT vision.We provide a fast, easy, secure and reliable Data, Analysis and Reporting Environment, based largely on the GCP technology in the public cloud. The purpose of this asset is to provide one system for FO (Front Office) and Risk Management business users to be used for both Intraday and End Of Day pricing, Risk Management and Position Management.We enjoy a flexible way of working and a highly collaborative environment, where fair and constructive feedback is encouraged. Here are your daily responsibilities:As a Senior Ops Engineer, you contribute and are responsible for handling incident management, change management and root cause analysis in case of unavailability and data quality issues.You monitor, maintain and trouble shoot data pipelines.Through an Agile/Scrum setup you aim to bring new code live, deploy and release on regular basis.You oversee CI/CD using Azure DevOpsYou actively own, develop, enhance and maintain Monitoring & Alerting of production systems.How to Succeed:Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience.IT Ops/Support experience, including Functional support to end users (such as Trades, Risk Managers, Collateral Managers) combined with analytical skills to identify root causes in workflow incidents (data, technical, functional).Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting data pipelines.Experience with Git and CI/CD (eg. Azure DevOps) and documentation tools.Familiarity with scripting languages in the likes of shell, Python or similar.Experience with Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent).Advanced SQL knowledgeNice to have:Knowledge of Java languageHands on experience with Cloud providers is a strong plus.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (eg.
