Position Title: Operations Support Engineer (SE) - Senior Master Trainer
Location: Tampa, FL
Position Overview:
S2Technologies is seeking a Operations Support Engineer (SE) - Senior Master Trainer to design and deliver training across critical operations and intelligence platforms. This role ensures personnel can effectively use and teach SOF, Joint Staff, and unit-sponsored technologies. The Master Trainer collaborates with site leads to tailor instruction, stays current on emerging tools, and evaluates training effectiveness to advance mission readiness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs
- Create essential materials such as manuals, presentations, and Plans of Instruction (POIs)
- Conduct training sessions for GSSE personnel
- Ensure that GSSE team members acquire the necessary skills to effectively train end users on both SOF, and Joint Staff Programs of record, as well as unit-sponsored commercial technologies upon request.
- Stay up to date on current and emerging technologies by actively scheduling and attending vendor-sponsored training events or studying vendor documentation to attain a trainer-level proficiency.
- Collaborate closely with site leads, the Master Trainer identifies unit-specific training needs and tailors solutions
- Oversee rigorous evaluation of training program effectiveness
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in technical support position and Operational or Intelligence Community (IC) operations, platforms, functions, and terminology experience.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in implementing and training software systems/updates, standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
Clearance Required
- Current TS/SCI
Education
- Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or related field.
Skills & Tools:
- Demonstrated knowledge of C2 systems, CIP/COP platforms, and operational task organization structures.
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed units and reporting operational capability gaps.
- Strong oral and written communication skills for technical training and coordination.
- Experience in implementing, training, and documenting software systems, including SOCOM or Joint operational platforms.
- Proven leadership and/or coordination across Combatant Commands and Joint Task Forces.
- Experience in operational planning, software fielding, and mission command integration.
- Participation in or leadership of AoR-level working groups and technical forums.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel globally in support of operational units.
