Role – Operations Director – 10-month FTC (maternity cover)

Salary – Competitive (six-figure package + completion bonus)

Our client is a global leader in beauty and haircare, seeking a Operations Director to lead their dynamic team on a 10-month FTC. As Operations Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing operations, supporting teams, enhancing efficiency, and delivering their strategic vision.

As part of the senior leadership team, reporting into CEO - This role overseas end-to-end requirements of our clients supply chain, mentoring and supporting the Head of Operations and Head of Supply Chain to ensure on time delivery of all elements from innovation projects to sales order delivery. The Operations Director will be responsible for driving key strategic projects, working collaboratively to deliver on time and exceed customer expectations.

What You’ll be doing as Operations Director –

• Lead the development and execution of the supply chain strategy in alignment with company agenda, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Partnering with Sales & Marketing to align the product roadmap, ascertain viability, working as enabler to drive quick and effective delivery to market.
• As Senior Leader in the business, ensure we are fostering a positive, inclusive and high performing culture that aligns with our values and mission.
• Drive global manufacturing and supply chain strategy alignment with strategic priorities and enhance forecasting processes, focusing on simplification and compliance.
• Effectively convey supply chain challenges and solutions to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), being a forward-thinking and adaptable leader who ensures alignment with the existing strategy while promoting a results-oriented approach.

For the role of Operations Director, ideally you’ll –

• Be a passionate, collaborative, people first leader with excellent knowledge across broad supply chain.
• Have knowledge and prior experience working with contract manufacturers (Polymer knowledge would be preferred, but not a necessity)
• Have global experience ideally within Beauty, Health or FMCG/Consumer.
• Able to easily work across different functions and teams, delivering exceptional results through influence, and with the ability to adapt to frequent change.
