Job Description

We’re supporting the hiring of a major integration and transformation programme within a global asset management firm. They are seeking an experienced Operations Business Analyst with a background in Middle Office / Back Office change to support the integration of a newly acquired business and help shape the future operating environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the migration of Middle Office and Back Office capabilities (excluding Transfer Agency), ensuring continuity of controls, processes, data, and reporting
• Conduct operating model assessment activities including:
  • Current state review
  • Gap analysis
  • Target operating model definition
  • Process redesign
• Work closely with both Operations and Technology teams to define requirements, produce functional documentation and support system build
• Support across testing phases (SIT, UAT), issue resolution, and controlled implementation
• Contribute to process walkthroughs, training materials and end-user enablement
• Assist with system decommissioning associated with the integration
• Collaborate with wider programme streams ensuring alignment across data, operations, finance, compliance and investment management functions

Experience Required

• Strong Operations Business Analysis background within Asset & Investment Management
• Demonstrable involvement in Operations migration or integration initiatives (Middle / Back Office)
• Experience supporting operating model change including business process analysis, TOM definition and delivery
• Skilled in documenting business and functional requirements, process maps and technical specifications
• Comfortable working with technology teams and external partners across build, rollout and testing
• Prior exposure to large custodians or outsourced service providers advantageous
• Experience in major investment management platforms beneficial

Contract Details

• Duration: 12-month initial contract
• Engagement: Inside IR35
• Location: London (2–3 days onsite)
