Job Title: Operations & Project Analyst
Location: Hybrid – Must be based in or able to regularly commute to Sacramento and San Joaquin Counties

Salary Range: $28.00–$30.00/hour based on experience and qualifications

The Operations & Project Analyst supports organizational effectiveness by maintaining core systems, assisting with project coordination, and contributing to data reporting and analysis. This role develops and updates standard operating procedures, recommends and helps maintain operational tools, and builds templates and dashboards using project management platforms. The Analyst plays a key role in ensuring data accuracy, identifying operational improvements, and enabling cross-departmental efficiency. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented, system-focused professional seeking a meaningful part-time opportunity in a mission-driven environment.

Essential Functions

Operational Systems & Process Improvement

  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process maps for consistency and clarity to increase efficiency and streamline cross-departmental operations.
  • Research and recommend tools and technologies; assist in configuration and maintenance to support operational systems and performance.

Project Management & Execution

  • Assist in cross-functional project coordination by creating timelines, deliverables, and identifying risks to ensure successful execution.
  • Implement project management tools (e.g., Asana, CoPilot, Monday) and develop standardized templates and dashboards.

Data & Performance Analysis

  • Analyze operational data to identify inefficiencies and deliver insights that support leadership in data-informed decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Perform routine data checks and collaborate with teams to ensure accuracy on data entry and reporting.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support evolving organizational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Valid TB clearance
  • DOJ/FBI background clearance
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable
  • Experience working with youth and basic knowledge of elementary subjects
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Effective, professional communication with staff, students, families, and partners

Certifications & Clearances

  • Required: Harassment Prevention Training and Mandated Reporter Training
  • : First Aid and CPR Certification

Physical Demands

  • Must have the strength, agility, and mobility to actively supervise children and perform program duties
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and other physical movement required
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25lbs safely

Work Environment & Travel

  • Work is conducted both indoors and outdoors, in various weather conditions
  • May be assigned to multiple site locations
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must follow all current CDC and local health guidelines for a safe work environment

Technology & Tools ()

  • EZReports, Procare, or similar systems (as required by district)
  • Microsoft Office 365 (Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, Outlook)
  • Workforce platforms such as ADP and Deputy
