Title: Operation Specialist

Location: Novi, MI –Hybrid work available after training period
Salary: $55k
Report to: Operations Supervisor
Start: Immediately (negotiable)

Summary:
• Support inside sales, purchasing, and customer service responsibilities
• Obtain customer’s order requirements through EDI, customer’s online portal, and/or direct communication
• Analyze customer data and prepare shipping orders, documents, labels, and logistics arrangements
• Communicate prepared shipments with warehouse staff and carriers
• Monitor shipment progress, part and packaging inventories
• Support and/or lead emergency shipping processes as needed (may require evening, weekend or holiday participation)
• Support Sales and Accounting departments as requested

Responsibilities:
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in a business related field
• Two or more years of experience in customer service, inside sales, warehousing, or logistics; preferably in automotive related field
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word)
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP software systems such as Oracle, SAP, AIM, etc.
• Successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States; have a valid driver’s license and automotive insurance

Qualifications/Requirement:
• Associate’s or higher degree in a business related field
• Two or more years of experience (with Bachelor’s degree) or five or more years of experience (with Associate’s degree) in customer service, inside sales, warehousing, or logistics; preferably in automotive related field
• Proficiency in MS Office products (Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word)
• Proficiency in MRP/ERP software systems such as Oracle, SAP, AIM, etc.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; have a valid driver’s license and automotive insurance

Qualifications/Preferred:
• Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
• Experience working and building relationships cross-culturally in a global enterprise, especially within Japanese culture
• Communication skills in Japanese is a plus
