Herb Jones Chevrolet is seeking a dedicated and reliable Oil Change & General Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level candidate to start a career with a reputable GM dealership and for experienced

RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other express services with efficiency and 
accuracy.

Inspect and top off fluid levels, including power steering, brake, and transmission fluids.

Replace oil filters, air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades.

Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report any additional service needs to the Service Advisor.

Ensure all work is performed in accordance with dealership and GM factory standards.

Maintain a clean, safe and organized workspace and follow all safety procedures.

Operate all tools and equipment safely and responsibly.

Communicate with the parts department to get needed parts.

Help maintain customer vehicles in clean condition.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience as an oil change or quick lube technician is , but we will train the right candidate.

Must have a comprehensive set of basic hand tools to perform mechanical duties.

A strong work ethic, positive attitude, and a desire to learn.

Basic mechanical skills and proficiency with hand and power tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.

Good communication and customer service skills.

A valid U.S. Driver's License and a clean driving record.

Must be willing to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug test.

Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, and move for extended periods.
