Role Definition
For a leading company specialized in offshore operations, we are currently seeking experienced professionals in offshore trenching to join trenching vessels as either Trenching Equipment Operators or Trenching Supervisors.
As a Trenching Specialist, you will play a key role in the successful execution of subsea cable operations.
Multiple campaigns are scheduled between September and November.
Main Responsibilities:

Participate in the planning and execution of offshore trenching operations for subsea cable installation and burial.

Operate, monitor, and/or supervise the use of trenching equipment (jet trenchers, mechanical trenchers, ploughs, or ROV-based systems) according to project requirements.

Ensure safe and efficient deployment, operation, and recovery of trenching systems onboard the vessel.

Adjust trenching parameters in coordination with the offshore team, based on real-time seabed conditions and burial specifications.

Monitor trenching performance and ensure alignment with the cable route and depth of burial criteria.

Perform or support routine inspections and maintenance on trenching tools and associated equipment.

Maintain accurate operational logs and contribute to shift reports, ensuring all activities are documented clearly.

·Collaborate closely with other onboard teams including deck crew, survey, ROV, and project representatives.

Ensure all operations are conducted in full compliance with offshore HSE standards and company procedures.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by reporting any operational issues, risks, or lessons learned.
Requirements:

Previous offshore experience operating trenching equipment on vessels.

Valid full GWO
-
Valide Medical Fitness Certificate

Fluent in English (spoken and written)
