Job Title: Offshore Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Norfolk (based from our Norwich office, with regular offshore deployments)
Salary: £32000 to £40000 per Annum

I am currently recruiting for a leading well-established marine geotechnical services provider based in Norwich, is seeking a motivated and experienced Offshore Geotechnical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful Offshore Geotechnical Engineer candidate will have the opportunity to work on challenging seabed site investigation projects, supporting everything from soil testing and core sampling through to data analysis and reporting.
Offshore Geotechnical Engineer Duties:
Plan, execute and supervise offshore geotechnical operations, including CPT testing and vibro-coring
Liaise with vessel crew, field technicians, and clients to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality data acquisition
Lead onshore data processing, interpretation, and reporting of geotechnical findings
Support project management: timelines, risk assessments, health & safety, and quality controlCandidate Requirements:
Relevant degree in Geology, Geoscience, etc.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in marine or offshore geotechnics
Proficient in geotechnical testing (CPT, sampling) and data analysis
Willingness to travel offshore; flexible and responsive to project needsCompany Benefits:
