We are looking for an Offshore Drilling Supervisor with the following details :
- Type of Job: Offshore rotational position (28 x 28), covering 12-hour day or night shift
- Location: Offshore - QATAR
- Start date: ASAP
- End date: December 2029
Job Purpose
- Direct Supervision for the implementation of the Operational Programs (Drilling, Completion, Intervention) in line with HSE and Operational Standards, Laws and Statutory obligations, and good drilling practices.
- Deliver fully functional wells on time and within budget (200-250 k$/d).
- Responsible for managing the offshore operation (~100/150 POB) leading the Offshore Team (4/6 people).
Experience Requirements
- Total Experience Required: 10 to 15 years
- Relevant Experience Required: Horizontal wells experience (especially ERD) and SIMOPS exposure highly valued
- Industry-Specific Experience: Drilling operations and offshore environments with high exposure to drilling hazards
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification Required: Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering
- Preferred Qualification: Not specified
- Certifications:
- IWCF (surface or subsea) Level 4
- OPITO-approved T-BOSIET
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
Responsibilities and Skills

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead HSE culture as the top priority
- Co-lead SIMOPS while the rig operates on crowded live production platforms in an H2S environment
- Drive offshore drilling operations with a focus on improving operational performance and efficiency
- Build a strong relationship with the Superintendent based on mutual trust and respect
- Provide leadership to the offshore team, including HSE, logistics, fluids, and well services supervisors
- Mentor less experienced Company personnel onsite
- Ensure all activities adhere to Policies and Procedures, particularly HSE
- Coordinate with Production Team, review permits, JSA's & risk assessments for SIMOPS
- Supervise the implementation of operation programs and give daily instructions to Drilling contractors and Service companies
- Personally supervise delicate or risky operations on the rig floor
- Optimize operations in collaboration with engineering, geology, and reservoir entities
- Prepare for potential problems and plan alternative strategies as required
- Ensure daily operations reporting and cost tracking in Wellview
- Provide feedback to improve subsequent wells based on operational learnings
- Organize and coordinate offshore logistics
- Participate in crisis response situations if required

- IWCF Level 4 and OPITO-approved T-BOSIET certification requirements
- Proficiency in Wellview for daily reporting and cost tracking
