SCHEDULE7/7 OR 14/14 hitch rotation, 12 hour days, 84 hour weeks--This role will start off with only remote work on documentation before moving to offshore rotation, which will be a standard 40 hour work week--POSITION OVERVIEW: Offshore Construction Manager- Array Cable Termination-- The Offshore Construction Manager – Array Cable Termination represents the client during offshore execution of array cable termination works on an offshore wind project. This role is responsible for coordinating contractors, vessels, and marine logistics while ensuring all termination activities are performed safely, in compliance with project requirements, and aligned with schedule. Acting as the single point of contact for this scope, the role oversees RAMS reviews, NCR management, lessons learned, and interface management between the client's construction packages and offshore contractors.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Aligning the Interface between client's CON Package and ACS+T Contractors
- Ensuring the maritime logistic for the Array Cable Contractor according to contract
- NCR management during termination scope
- Ensure a safe working environment offshore
- Ensure implementation of previous LLs related to the termination scope into the project
- Ensure registration of LLs related to the termination scope
- Single point of contact between Termination supervisors, Termination contractor and Technical Scope Manager
- Defining the Package requirements for tendering of the maritime LGS for ACS+T Package by CON
- Defining the Contractors needs for Offshore Works
- Ensure all load-out activities are coordinated with the OCI department and incoterms, tests, hand-over certificates are properly aligned
- Ensure the project schedule (including OCI) is fully aligned with the offshore termination scope
- Ensure LGS relevant activities are fully understood and aligned (e.g. lifting, storage, vessel facilities, rescue concept, crew change, tools, HSE needs, material Flow from/to Site) are aligned and planned in before mobilization
- Participate in Monthly Progress Meetings with contractor
- Participate in weekly ACS+T Team Meetings
- Review all LGS relevant documents and provide comments
- Review contractor RAMS for safe and high-quality execution of offshore works
- Review and registration of NCRs in Synergi during offshore termination scope
- Ensure proper registration of LL related to the offshore termination scope
- Ensure proper implementation of previous LL related to the offshore termination scope
- Mapping all deliverables and activities related to the offshore termination works
- Ensure progress for the submittal of deliverables from the Contractor and internal stakeholders
- Internal knowledge sharing
- Feed in all offshore relevant LGS activities such crew change, port call, transfer times etc. into the Package TS
- Be in a charge of mobilization of the SOV, CTV as well as ACS+T Package scope on Jack-Up Barges
- Be the first contact and Package representative for all LGS activities at harbour, vessel and site
- Organizing and chairing regular LGS IF meetings with the Contractors, CON Package and relevant function of ACS+T team (TS, CM, HSE)
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years offshore construction experience (wind, oil & gas, or marine construction)
- Hands-on experience with array or subsea power cables, especially termination or testing phases
- Experience managing offshore contractors during execution
- Strong understanding of offshore electrical works (MV/HV )
- Experience reviewing and approving RAMS
- Experience with NCR management and close-out
- Working knowledge of Lessons Learned (LL) processes
- Working in a structured and analytic way
- Good communication skills
- Fully GWO certified + Chester step
CONTRACT TERM10 months with high likelihood of extension
