Office / Operations Manager – Commercial Real Estate Brokerage
Location: North Dallas (near the Tollway)
Compensation: $105,000 – $125,000 + Bonus
Schedule: On-site, Monday through Friday
Overview:
A well-established commercial real estate brokerage with 45+ brokers is seeking an experienced and highly professional Office / Operations Manager to oversee the firm’s day-to-day operations and support continued growth. This role works closely with the Co-Managing Principals and interacts with all departments to promote efficient practices, smooth workflow, and excellent client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure all departments function cohesively and efficiently.
- Manage staff performance, scheduling, and productivity while maintaining a professional work environment.
- Support brokers in achieving production goals through structured processes, communication, and accountability.
- Lead onboarding for brokers and staff, including contracts, licensing, insurance, and compliance.
- Act as liaison between all departments—marketing, IT, accounting, research, management, and brokerage—to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
- Partner with accounting on office budget oversight, expenses, and vendor contracts.
- Maintain compliance with Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) regulations; track license renewals and ensure timely corporate license maintenance.
- Conduct annual performance reviews for staff and brokers.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and professional standards, including dress code and operational protocols.
- Identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for process improvement, reporting findings to firm leadership.
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing office and administrative staff.
- Oversee transaction management processes and ensure operational accuracy.
- Coordinate special projects and initiatives that contribute to the firm’s overall success.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of office or operations management experience in a real estate, brokerage, or professional services environment.
- Proven experience supporting or managing a team of 40+ professionals.
- Deep understanding of real estate operations, including licensing, compliance, and transaction processes.
- Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and professionalism.
- Strong business judgment, discretion, and reliability.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general office systems.
