[What the role is]As part of the Human Resources leadership team, your role is essential in leading and advising the HR team, ensuring successful implementation of HR initiatives across various HR functions, as outlined below. You will provide guidance to multiple teams of managers and executives and work closely with senior management. Your focus areas will be determined by your expertise. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills and a strong understanding of HR best practices. The ideal candidate should be proactive, innovative, and capable of driving HR initiatives to support RP’s goals.[What you will be working on]Manpower Planning Forecast and manage workforce needs to ensure the right number of staff at the right time Optimize resource allocation by analysing workforce utilizationAttraction and AcquisitionDevelop and execute employer branding initiatives to build a pipeline of candidates with the relevant skill sets to meet the Polytechnic's manpower needsManage the recruitment process to ensure excellent candidate and onboarding experiencesStaff EngagementDevelop and implement strategies to foster a positive work culture, enhance staff satisfaction, and promote a sense of belonging and commitment among staffRewards and Recognition Design, implement, and manage policies that acknowledge and reward staff for their contributions to the PolytechnicDevelop performance appraisal processes to recognize staff’s achievements and identify areas for improvementBusiness PartnershipPartner with department heads and senior management to address HR-related challengesOther HRM matters such as managing staff conduct and grievance handling.[What we are looking for]Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management or related fieldAt least ten years of relevant work experience, with familiarity in various HR functions and with at least five years in leadership roleExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsA team player who is independent, resilient, resourceful with proven track record of building strong relationship with stakeholders at all levelsProficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, SharePoint) and digitally-proficient to learn the use of new toolsSome experience with Workday HR System, Robotics Process Automation, Chatbots and Macro programming will be advantageous
