  • Position Overview

The Office Furniture Installation Manager oversees all aspects of furniture installation projectsfrom crew scheduling to quality controlensuring our clients receive professional, on-time, and flawless installations. Youll manage both employee and subcontractor crews, partner closely with Account Managers, and keep projects on track while maintaining high safety and quality standards.


  • Key Responsibilities
    • Team Leadership
    • Lead, coach, and schedule a team of 1530 employee installers.
    • Manage 530 subcontracted installers across multiple projects.
    • Assign crews based on skill sets, availability, and project requirements.
    • Conduct regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and training to maintain a high standard of work.
    • Project Coordination
    • Partner with Account Managers to understand project scope, timelines, and client needs.
    • Create and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time installations.
    • Monitor daily progress, adjusting resources as needed to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
    • Quality Assurance & Safety
    • Perform site visits to ensure installations meet company and client standards.
    • Proactively address and resolve installation issues.
    • Enforce all safety protocols and company policies on-site.
    • Logistics & Communication
    • Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse and transportation teams.
    • Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials, and project completion.
    • Serve as the point of contact for installation-related updates and client feedback.

    Qualifications

    • Required
    • 3+ years in office furniture installation or related industry.
    • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
    • Strong knowledge of commercial furniture systems and installation best practices.
    • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret floor plans and installation drawings.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
    • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
    • Experience with mobile workforce management software.
    • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
