- Position Overview
The Office Furniture Installation Manager oversees all aspects of furniture installation projectsfrom crew scheduling to quality controlensuring our clients receive professional, on-time, and flawless installations. Youll manage both employee and subcontractor crews, partner closely with Account Managers, and keep projects on track while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
- Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and schedule a team of 1530 employee installers.
- Manage 530 subcontracted installers across multiple projects.
- Assign crews based on skill sets, availability, and project requirements.
- Conduct regular team check-ins, performance reviews, and training to maintain a high standard of work.
- Project Coordination
- Partner with Account Managers to understand project scope, timelines, and client needs.
- Create and maintain project schedules to ensure on-time installations.
- Monitor daily progress, adjusting resources as needed to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Quality Assurance & Safety
- Perform site visits to ensure installations meet company and client standards.
- Proactively address and resolve installation issues.
- Enforce all safety protocols and company policies on-site.
- Logistics & Communication
- Coordinate delivery schedules with warehouse and transportation teams.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials, and project completion.
- Serve as the point of contact for installation-related updates and client feedback.
Qualifications
- Required
- 3+ years in office furniture installation or related industry.
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial furniture systems and installation best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret floor plans and installation drawings.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Experience with mobile workforce management software.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
