**Note: The pay rate listed is the base pay with the overseas premium included
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and supervise project safety in compliance with corporate safety programs and contract requirements.
- Conduct daily safety inspections and document findings for all active work areas.
- Collaborate with field staff and management to develop safe work plans for each project phase.
- Serve as the safety liaison with clients, subcontractors, and external entities, addressing safety-related issues and concerns.
- Prepare and submit all safety-related reports, and conduct post-accident investigations to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or GED with five years of experience in safety management.
- Solid understanding of corporate safety programs, OSHA regulations, or Corps of Engineers EM385-1-1 standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Current Department of Defense secret security clearance is required, along with OSHA 30-hour and EM385
- Ability to endure challenging working conditions, including heights and confined spaces, while ensuring personal and team safety.
