Position Overview:
This is a leadership role for an experienced nurse who will oversee patient throughput, staffing, and productivity across multiple nursing units. The role manages off-shift nursing supervision, the float pool, and the clinical decision unit. The right candidate will bring strong leadership, collaboration, and process improvement skills, with 24-hour accountability for nursing operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage scheduling, staffing, acuity, productivity, reporting, and payroll functions

Oversee Nursing Supervision, Companion Care, and Clinical Decision Unit operations

Lead and mentor staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement

Monitor and manage operational and capital budgets

Collaborate with medical staff and administration to ensure high-quality patient care
Required Qualifications:
-
BSN and MSN, or Master’s in Business/Healthcare-related field
-
Current RN license in Ohio
-
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (CCNE or ACEN)

At least 5 years of nursing experience, with 2+ years in supervision, management, or hospital logistics

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Comfortable with multiple healthcare systems/software

Certification in nursing leadership (or ability to obtain within 2 years)

Sedentary with occasional light lifting (up to 10 lbs)
