Nuclear Medicine Technologist II | California
Days | 8 hour shifts
$67.11 to $83.44 / hour + Benefits
Weekdays + rotating weekends
About the Role:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist II will assist in the organization, supervision and training activities of the technical operation.

Responsibilities
- Sound understanding of anatomical positioning
- Demonstrates the ability to analyze difficult situations,
- React properly and interact effectively with the departments medical, technical and clerical staff
- Demonstrates commitment to service excellence and problem ownership
- Manages and communicates confidential patient information
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Assist with patient/procedure scheduling
- Explains nature of exam to patients to ensure cooperation
Qualifications:
- One year experience in an acute care hospital is , which may include clinical hours during technologist training program.
- 3-5 years clinical nuclear medicine experience.
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Other: Completion of a nuclear medicine technologist training program
- OR Other: Completion of radiologic technologist training program with NMTCB or ARRT(N).
- ARRT - Radiography - American Register of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire
- OR NMT-Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Upon Hire
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider within 60 Days of hire
- RHN-Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine (Department of Public Health) (required if working in California)
