The role you'll contribute:

\n \n\n \n

Performs Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT Imaging studies. Handles, administers, calculates dosage and prepares Radionuclide. Maintains records in accordance with departmental policy and procedures as well as within state requirements. Acting Radiation Safety Officer for FHI. Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards. Assists in Radiology department as needed. Nuclear Medicine/PET/CT marketing to physician referrers for FHI. Responsibility to adhere to the Florida Hospital Corporate compliance plan, to the rules and regulations of all local, state, and Federal agencies, and to the standards of all accrediting bodies.

• Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT Imaging studies.

• Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.

\n \n

• Assists in Radiology department as needed.

• Markets to local area physician referral base to promote PET/CT.

The expertise and experiences you'll need to succeed:

\n \n\n \n

Minimum qualifications:

\n \n\n \n\n

\n
• Must be a graduate of an A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B approved program with current A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. registration Required

\n \n

• Current Florida Nuclear Medicine license.

\n \n

• Newly graduated technologist should be able to work unattended shift, with only occasional guidance needed within six months. Required

\n \n

• Experienced technologist should be able to work independently in one month. Required

\n \n

• RHN - Radiologic Health Nuclear Medicine Required

\n \n

• BCLS - Basic Life Support Required

\n \n

• NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech or A.R.R.T Required

\n \n\n \n\n
