In this role, youll perform a variety of nuclear medicine proceduresranging from routine diagnostics to more advanced studiesand support fellow technologists to ensure smooth, timely patient flow. Youll also take an active role in quality assurance, system troubleshooting, and advancing your technical knowledge through continuing education.

What Youll Do

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures with care, accuracy, and efficiency.

Handle radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals according to safety and regulatory standards.

Support team workflow by assisting in other imaging modalities when needed.

Ensure proper scanning and archiving of images in the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Act as a PACS superuser and escalate issues appropriately during system downtime.

Collaborate with physicians, imaging colleagues, and department leadership to foster a cohesive and positive work culture.

Adapt care to meet the physical, emotional, cultural, and developmental needs of each patient.

Stay current with continuing education, licensure requirements, and technical advancements.

Maintain professionalism in appearance, behavior, communication, and attendance.

Participate in departmental quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Demonstrate flexibility with work shifts and location assignments as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

Graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine Technology

Experience:

1 year of experience in clinical nuclear medicine

Comfortable with computer systems and image archiving platforms

Certifications:

Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (ARRT-N or NMTCB) Required

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

New Mexico: NMT license by MIRTP NMED

Compensation & Scheduling


Compensation

- Hourly rates: $25.76 - $35.42 based on experience

- 1 year: $26.73

- 5 years: $30.59

- 10 years/max: $35.42

- Shift Differentials:

- Nights (7p7a): $3.00

- Evenings (7p7a): $3.00

- Weekends: 10% of base pay

- Sign-on Bonus: Not available at this time
