Nuclear Medical Technologist / Nuclear Med Tech

Our client, a large hospital located near Santa Ana, CA, has a need for a Nuclear Med Tech to join their team.

They are offering a $10,000 hiring bonus

Under minimal supervision, performs and documents quality nuclear medicine procedures (invasive and noninvasive) on neonate, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in a timely manner as ordered by the physician. Supports supervisor and radiologist in carrying out their duties that in turn contribute to an effective an efficient Nuclear Medicine department. Promotes positive working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and other employees

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Graduate of Nuclear Medicine Training program

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board upon hire, or Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology upon hire

California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification upon hire

Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Qualifications:

1 year experience working with cameras/computers

Infant through adult nuclear medicine procedure experience

Intravenous administration experience with pediatric patients
