CentraState Medical Center is currently seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its Nuclear Medicine team. This role involves performing both routine and emergency nuclear medicine procedures. The technologist will also mentor and train students in a collaborative learning environment, contributing to the development of future healthcare professionals. Performs Nuclear Medicine procedures including IV injections of radiopharmaceuticals, use of spect camera and computers and processing of computer generated images. Keeps accurate records of receipt, disposal and administration of radioactive material. Performs required Quality Control procedures on camera and equipment and document results. Reviews images, documents completion of case, assembles images, requisition and file jacket for delivery to Radiologist.
