Job DescriptionJob Description

Duties:

Demonstrates competency to perform NM procedures required by the hospital including but not limited to:
All NM positioning/procedures per departmental protocol
Knowledge of working with Isotopes, administering isotopes, safety usage of isotopes
Receipt and Storage of Isotopes
Spill Procedure, Waste Disposal
Technical Aspects of Equipment, Hot Lab, Quality Control Tests
Practices Radiation Protection
PACS, Putty, Carevue, OpenVista, ARS

EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High Schol diploma or equivalent
A graduate of a A.R.R.T.approved program

CREDENTIALS + QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be registered by the A.R.R.T and/or SNMCB in Nuclear Medicine
Must maintain an active New Jersey State license in Nuclear Medicine
