Job Description

NPI Project Engineer\n£32,000 - £35,000\nPlastics Manufacturing\nWorcestershire\n\nWe are seeking an NPI Project Engineer to manage new product introductions from design through to customer approval within a plastics manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on role with ownership of tooling, process development and technical delivery.\n\nYou’ll work closely with toolmakers, customers and internal teams to ensure robust, efficient manufacturing processes and successful project outcomes.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Manage NPI projects from concept to customer sign-off.\n\n * \n\n Interpret engineering drawings and CAD data to ensure manufacturability.\n\n * \n\n Manage tooling suppliers, tool design reviews and build progress.\n\n * \n\n Plan and run tool trials, analysing results and validating processes.\n\n * \n\n Develop and optimise manufacturing processes.\n\n * \n\n Produce process documentation and dimensional reports.\n\n * \n\n Provide technical support to production and resolve tooling/process issues.\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n Experience in NPI, project or process engineering within manufacturing.\n\n * \n\n Strong understanding of tooling and supplier management.\n\n * \n\n Able to read engineering drawings, GD&T and CAD.\n\n * \n\n Confident communicator with customers and internal teams.\n\n * \n\n Practical, hands-on problem solver.\n\n * \n\n Background in plastics manufacturing.\n\n * \n\n Engineering qualification (Degree / HND / HNC)
