We’re seeking a sharp, dependable, and purpose-driven Personal Assistant / Project Manager to support the CEO of a fast-growing functional nutrition and fresh food brand in NYC.
This part-time in-person position plays a critical role in kitchen operations, event execution, and team/vendor oversight while representing the CEO locally as she expands the brand nationally.
✅ Ideal Qualifications:
• Veterans, retired Executive Chefs, or hospitality professionals highly encouraged to apply
• Proven experience in food & beverage management, catering, or event operations
• Strong vendor negotiation, staff coordination, and client communication skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation abilities
• Comfortable with physical work: must be able to lift boxes and stand for prolonged hours
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and food safety (ServSafe or NYC Food Handler )
• Tech-savvy with Google Workspace, task/project management tools, and scheduling systems
• Able to handle sensitive information, represent the CEO at events, and build brand trust
Responsibilities Include:
• Manage day-to-day logistics, kitchen, and catering schedules
• Act as liaison between CEO and all local vendors, partners, and staff
• Handle meeting prep, communication, reporting, and compliance
• Step in at events, tastings, and operations when CEO is off-site
• Maintain high brand standards, aligned with our mission of sustainability and wellness
