This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an expert team tackling complex noise and vibration challenges.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Noise Engineer - Aviation, you will:\n\nDeliver noise modelling and acoustic assessments for aviation products using advanced simulation tools.\n\nIntegrate noise control solutions into planning, design, and infrastructure projects in and around Southampton.\n\nTranslate technical data into clear, actionable insights for clients, regulators, and stakeholders.\n\nPrepare detailed reports, assessments, and recommendations.\n\nLead projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring outcomes meet time, cost, and quality targets.\n\nAbout You\n\nWe are looking for candidates with:\n\nA degree in Acoustics, Aerodynamics, Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.\n\nExperience in aviation noise and vibration, ideally in product development or aircraft engine acoustics.\n\nStrong ability with noise modelling software and understanding of aviation noise impact mechanisms.\n\nExcellent analytical, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills.\n\nA collaborative approach and enthusiasm for innovation.\n\nDesirable:\n\nMembership/Chartership with IOA or IMechE.\n\nExperience with sound insulation schemes or public consultation.\n\nWhat's on Offer\n\nCompetitive salary and benefits package.\n\nOngoing professional development and career progression opportunities.\n\nInvolvement in high-impact aviation projects based in Southampton.\n\nFlexible working arrangements.\n\nA supportive, collaborative work environment.\n\nApply Now\n\nContact: Abi King at Penguin Recruitment\n\nPenguin Recruitment is proud to partner with our client in Southampton in sourcing top talent for this exciting opportunity
