Operations Manager



to oversee their busy distribution centre in Waltham Cross.



The role:



You’ll take the reins of the late shift operation, leading your team to deliver smooth, efficient, and high-performing warehouse and distribution processes. Working 9pm to 6am across any 5 nights from 7, you’ll be a key part of ensuring store deliveries go out on time and service levels are consistently met.



Key responsibilities:



Manage and motivate a large team of operatives, supervisors, and shift leads



Oversee goods-in, picking, packing, and dispatch functions



Drive performance, quality, and compliance across the shift



Work closely with senior site leadership to meet KPIs and service targets



Ensure a safe, well-organised working environment and support continuous improvement



About you:



Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced retail, eCommerce, or logistics DC



Strong understanding of warehouse processes and shift operations



Natural leader with excellent people management and communication skills



Comfortable making decisions in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment



Flexible, solutions-focused and hands-on approach
