Job description As part of its nanosatellite development projects, U-Space is seeking a power electronics expert to take on important R&D projects related to the development of next-generation space power systems. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and testing of power electronics components for a novel power chain architecture. This position consists of: Lead the design and development of power electronics components for a novel power chain architecture. Conduct R&D activities to improve the performance, efficiency, and reliability of space power systems. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations for space power systems. Collaborate with other engineers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of power electronics development projects. Conduct testing and verification activities for power electronics components and systems. Participate in design reviews to ensure the quality and safety of power electronics components and systems. You will be responsible for the organization of your activities to carry out the entrusted missions. Professional experience 5-10 years of professional experience in power electronics design and development, preferably in the space industry. Profile and skills You have the following qualifications and skills : engineering school or university, Bac +5 strong experience in the design and development of power electronics components, such as DC-DC converters, power amplifiers, and voltage regulators. knowledge of industry standards and regulations for space power systems. familiarity with space radiation effects and mitigation strategies. ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly and effectively with other team members. autonomy, innovation and creativity.
