New Product Development Engineer in Centerville

Job Description

New Product Development Responsibilities:

- Leading projects focused on the design, evaluation, and product launch of specialty refrigerated merchandisers

- Represents NPD engineering on cross functional teams

- Manage DTV projects from concept to completion

- Support identification and scoping of new and innovative solutions to achieve the product market specification

- Oversee the development of CAD solid models and engineering simulation of proposed concepts

- Develop test plans and work with the Engineering Lab to validate solutions

- Conduct field tests as required to validate solutions

- Support identification and scoping of cost saving projects on the existing products

Requirements for New Product Development:

- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- 2+ years of refrigeration or HVAC industry experience

- 2+ years applying heat transfer, thermodynamics, fluids, and refrigeration skills to the solving of engineering problems is a plus

- 2D & 3D CAD experience

- Sheet metal solid modeling experience is a plus

- FEA or CFD experience

- Project management experience
