Job DescriptionJob DescriptionResidential Plumber Job DescriptionTrusted Tradesmen & Co is seeking a full-time experienced plumber to support our residential plumbing team. Our plumbing team focuses on the complete plumbing process from the ground up for custom homebuilders across Upstate, SC. The person hired for this position has a great opportunity to contribute immediately and grow with the company. Enjoy a Monday thru Thursday work week while you plumb multimillion-dollar homes.Primary Responsibilities:· Assemble, install, maintain, and pressure test all pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, drainage, sprinkler, and gas systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.· Determine sources of plumbing malfunctions and complete repairs as indicated· Locate and mark positions for connections and fixtures.· Install and repair pipes, fittings, valves, fixtures, and plumbing system equipment, including sinks, commodes, water heaters, water softeners, etc.; install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment.· Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.· Plan, install and service plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment and controls; test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks.· Assist Master Plumber to select material and hardware and make labor and materials estimates.· Maintain accurate records.· Maintain inventory of company-owned tools, equipment, and materials.· Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.· Communicate with PM’s and builders to complete projects.Other duties:· Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; ensure that equipment is in safe operating condition.· Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.· Maintain all building codes and installation requirements for each system· Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.· Correct unsafe conditions in work area and report any conditions that are not correctable to supervisor immediately.· Frequent travel around the Upstate.· Frequent interaction with builders, project managers and homeowners. Skills:
Minimum five years residential plumbing experience doing new construction & renovationsAbility to complete rough-in through trim-out in multi-million dollar homesUnderstanding of construction blueprints, diagrams, schematics, etc…Highly relational with the ability to relate well to teammates, homeowners and project managersAbility to foresee potential issues and troubleshoot as necessaryFirst Aid/CPR certification a bonus
Hours:40 hour work week Monday thru ThursdayOvertime on Friday as neededSalary:Depends on experience
