Job Description

Are you an experienced IT professional who thrives on building robust, secure, and scalable infrastructure?\n\nOur client is an award-winning law firm with a strong focus on technology and innovation. As they continue to invest in their infrastructure, they have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Second Line Network Infrastructure Engineer to join their growing IT Operations Team.\n\nThis is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in keeping systems secure, resilient, and future-ready, helping the business deliver exceptional service with technology at its core.\n\nFrom day one, you'll be involved in important projects from planning to delivery, working across cloud, network, and server environments to ensure the IT operations are secure, efficient, and built to scale.\n\nWhat you’ll be doing:\n\n * Supporting Microsoft-based infrastructure and business applications\n\n * Managing LAN/WAN networks, routers, and firewalls (Meraki, SonicWALL)\n\n * Maintaining and evolving our Azure cloud platform and Citrix environment\n\n * Leading infrastructure projects and implementing new technologies\n\n * Monitoring systems, responding to alerts, and troubleshooting issues\n\n * Maintaining network and endpoint security, including patching\n\n * Participating in a paid on-call rota and monthly patching (paid as overtime)\n\nWhat they are looking for:\n\n * At least 3 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration, or cloud engineering\n\n * Strong knowledge of Windows Server (2022/2025), Windows 11, and Active Directory\n\n * Experience with Microsoft Azure, VMware, and Kubernetes\n\n * Networking expertise (LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls)\n\n * Hands-on knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu), SQL Server (2022), and MS Exchange (2019)\n\n * Familiarity with Dell PowerStore or similar storage solutions\n\nHow they work:\nA hands-on team that thrives on solving problems and making technology work smarter for the business.
