Network Engineer - StableNet NMS Design & Integration

Job Title: Network Engineer - NMS Systems Design (StableNet)
Location: London- Hybrid | Contract: 3 months Rolling

We are looking for a Network Engineer with strong NMS design and integration expertise, specifically with Infosim StableNet, to support the development and deployment of a network monitoring and management solution for a mission-critical satellite ground segment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and integration of StableNet NMS into a distributed terrestrial network.

• Collaborate with systems analysts and network engineers to align NMS capabilities with EGS requirements.

• Define and document NMS system flows, SNMP integration, alarms, performance monitoring, and service assurance.

• Develop UML and systems diagrams to represent monitoring flows and control interfaces.

• Support the development of test plans and validation procedures for monitoring functionality.

• Participate in design reviews, representing NMS scope and integration status.

Qualifications:

• 3-5+ years of experience designing and implementing StableNet or similar NMS platforms.

• Strong understanding of SNMP, telemetry, and fault/performance monitoring principles.

• Ability to document systems flows, diagrams, and integration processes.

• Experience working with large-scale SD-WAN or hybrid terrestrial network environments.

• Excellent collaboration skills across systems, network, and operations engineering.

Bonus Skills:

• Background in space, aerospace, or critical communications infrastructure.

• Familiarity with service assurance frameworks and ITIL-based operations.
