Pay: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Location:This is an on-site role in Boston, MA, built for someone who thrives working closely with IT teammates and stakeholders in person.Note:Must have 5+ years of network infrastructure management experience and strong fundamentals in routing, switching, and network security (including protocols like TCP/IP and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF).   • Design and plan network layouts across LANs, WANs, and wireless networks
  • Install, configure, and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
  • Monitor performance, analyze traffic, troubleshoot outages, and drive root-cause fixes
  • Implement security controls to protect against unauthorized access and cyber threats
  • Forecast capacity needs and plan upgrades to improve speed, resilience, and scalability
  • Partner with vendors on escalations, technical issues, and contract support
  • Maintain clean documentation: diagrams, configurations, and troubleshooting guides
  • Support projects and other duties as assigned in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing network infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, BGP, OSPF, and network security concepts
  • Hands-on experience with multi-vendor network hardware
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues
  • Strong organizational skills with comfort managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Bachelors degree (CS, IT, or related), or equivalent experience
  • Experience in an AmLaw 200 or larger law firm is a plus
  • Certifications and ILTA involvement are a plus
