Apex Systems is currently assisting one of the largest Aviation companies in the country with their search for NDT Technicians to join their team. You will be focused on the non-destructive inspection (NDI) and non-destructive testing (NDT) in the aviation sector.

Title: NDT Technician

Duration: 12+ Month Contract to Hire

Location: Onsite in North Charleston (will offer relocation bonus)

Pay: $27-$29/hr

Summary:

Performs setup for specialized non-destructive test or measurement equipment. Develops procedures and processes. Performs tests or inspections and collects data. Documents, analyzes and communicates results and assists with corrective action recommendations. Provides feedback on adverse trends. Responsible for non-destructive testing and acceptance of repairs to company products. Conducts certification preparation training.

Experience Required:

• Looking for Level 2 experience in NDI (non-destructive inspection) or NDT (non-destructive test) - methods: UT is primary.
• Ultrasonic testing experience
• ASNT OR NAS Certification
