Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled NDT Technician to perform non-destructive testing on materials, components, and assemblies to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with various NDT methods, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform non-destructive testing using techniques such as ultrasonic (UT), magnetic particle (MT), liquid penetrant (PT), radiographic (RT), and visual inspection (VT).
- Interpret test results and document findings in compliance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- Calibrate and maintain NDT equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Report nonconforming materials and test results to supervisors or quality engineers.
- Follow established safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections and testing results using SAP or other reporting systems.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree .
- Certification in one or more NDT methods (ASNT, NAS 410, or equivalent) strongly .
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, etc.).
- Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to perform inspections in various positions, including confined spaces and elevated areas.
- Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office, SAP ).
