Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled NDT Level 2 Radiographic Inspector to join our team. The primary objective of this role is to perform radiographic testing on various materials and components to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining quality control and assurance processes within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct radiographic inspections using both film and digital techniques to evaluate the integrity of materials and welds.
  • Interpret and analyze radiographic images to identify any defects or inconsistencies in the tested materials.
  • Utilize knowledge of NAS 410 and ASTM standards to ensure all inspections meet regulatory and quality requirements.
  • Prepare detailed inspection reports, documenting findings and recommendations for corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with engineering and quality assurance teams to discuss inspection results and potential issues.
  • Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment in accordance with industry best practices and company policies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

  • NDT Level 2 certification in Radiographic Testing (RT) according to NAS 410 or equivalent standard.
  • Proven experience in performing radiographic inspections in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with both film-based and digital radiographic techniques.
  • Strong understanding of ASTM standards relevant to nondestructive testing.
  • Experience in quality management systems (QMS) and process control.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
