Job Description:



NDT Inspector



Location: Manchester

Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum



Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm | Friday 8:00 am – 2:30 pm



We’re currently looking for an experienced NDT Level II Inspector to join a leading engineering and fabrication business. This is a great opportunity to become part of a growing team that values quality, precision, and continuous improvement.



The Role



As an NDT Inspector, you’ll play a key part in ensuring all fabricated components meet stringent customer and industry standards. You’ll carry out Visual, Dye Penetrant (PT) and Radiographic (X-ray) inspections, supporting production and welding teams to maintain the highest levels of quality and compliance.



Key Responsibilities



* Perform NDT inspections including visual weld checks, radiographic testing, and dye penetrant testing.



* Interpret inspection results to assess weld and component integrity.



* Ensure all inspections comply with industry standards and customer specifications.



* Maintain accurate inspection records and generate detailed reports.



* Work closely with fabrication and welding teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.



* Adhere to all health, safety, and quality standards.



* Stay up to date with the latest NDT technologies and best practices.



About You



* Certified to EN4179/NAS410 standards in relevant NDT methods ().



* Proven experience within welding, fabrication, or precision engineering.



* Familiar with AS9100 or similar quality systems.



* Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings.



* Strong problem-solving ability and confident working both independently and within a team.
