Due to sustained growth and continued success, we are seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Operative (Building, Plumbing, Carpentry) to join our dynamic team within MOD and building division.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Multiskilled Maintenance Operative, you will report directly to the Building Contracts Managers Your primary responsibility will be to carry out a wide range of maintenance, repairs, and general building works within commercial environments initially across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire & Gloucestershire.\n\nDuties will include:\n\n * \n\n General site maintenance, routine maintenance, cosmetic upkeep and preventative maintenance & project works.\n\n * \n\n Carrying out minor structural repairs patch plastering, painting and decorating\n\n * \n\n Basic carpentry experience including installing stud walls, doors & frames, architraves, skirtings, locks, kitchen units etc.\n\n * \n\n Basic plumbing, including installing & maintaining sanitary ware.\n\n * \n\n Identifying and reporting any faults or maintenance issues\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all work are completed to a high standard while adhering to health and safety regulations\n\nOur Offer:\n\n * \n\n £Competitive Hourly Rate of Pay\n\n * \n\n Company Vehicle and Fuel Card\n\n * \n\n Company Pension Scheme\n\n * \n\n 28 days annual leave (inclusive of eight recognised Bank Holidays)\n\n * \n\n Industry training and development opportunities\n\n * \n\n Company uniform and PPE provided\n\nThe Person:\n\nTo be considered for this role, you should be an experienced multiskilled craftsman with a proven track record in maintenance and repair work within commercial environments.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role\n\n * \n\n Proficiency in general building maintenance repairs & projects.\n\n * \n\n Basic carpentry and joinery skills 1st and 2nd fix, and finals\n\n * \n\n Basic plumbing experience\n\n * \n\n Knowledge of painting, decorating and finishing works\n\n * \n\n Ability to work independently and effectively under minimal supervision\n\n * \n\n Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\n\n * \n\n Full UK Driving License\n\n * \n\n CSCS Card Holder (advantageous)\n\n * \n\n DBS Clearance (advantageous)\n\nYour previous positions may include: Maintenance Engineer, Handyman, Facilities Maintenance Engineer, General Builder, Property Maintenance Technician, Site Maintenance Engineer, or Multiskilled Engineer.\n\nHow to Apply:\n\nReady to join our team?
