Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer in Leicester

Impact Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join one of our clients on a permanent basis in Leicester.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business offering flexibility, autonomy, and long-term stability within a modern production environment.\n\nRole: Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer\nHours: Flexible working hours Monday - Friday between 6:00am - 10:00pm (Minimum 40 hours per week)\nLocation: Leicester\nSalary: £45,000 - £50,000\n\nDuties:\n\nCarry out both reactive and preventative maintenance across the site\nTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults\nConduct routine inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively\nRespond quickly to breakdowns to minimise production downtime\nMaintain and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems\nComplete maintenance records, inspections, and repair documentation\nLiaise with external contractors and suppliers when required\nEnsure all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety procedures\nManage maintenance activities independently within a standalone roleRequirements:\n\nTime-served Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n18th Edition qualified\nCompleted an apprenticeship within General Engineering or Machining\nStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience\nPrevious experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment\nAbility to read and interpret schematics and engineering diagrams\nAble to work independently and manage workload effectively\nExperience within plastics or injection moulding would be advantageous\nExperience working with hydraulic systems would be advantageousWhat's On Offer:\n\nFlexible working hours offering excellent work-life balance\nSalary of £45,000 - £50,000\nStandalone role with full autonomy and responsibility\nCompany pension scheme\nCycle to work scheme\nFree on-site parking\nSupportive and stable working environment\nLong-term opportunity within a well-established businessIf you are interested in this opportunity, please apply with an up-to-date CV.\n\nImpact Recruitment are acting as an employment agency on behalf of our client
