We provide human cut, personalised meals designed to support each dog's unique needs, delivered straight to their door - no preservatives, no compromises, just real nutrition.You can find our customers across the UK , with future ambitions to scale internationally and continue transforming how people care for their dogs.Your MissionAs our Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll be a key part of building and scaling our Engineering function from the ground up.

This is a brand-new role in a fast-paced, startup environment — ideal for someone hands-on, solutions-focused, and eager to make their mark.You'll work on everything from day-to-day reactive fixes to designing preventative maintenance routines that help reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. You'll be trusted to spec and shape your own workspace, source tools and parts, and help define how our machinery evolves as we grow.This role sits at the heart of production and reports to our Engineering Manager. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams like Operations, QA, and Technical, responding to real-time line issues while also contributing to long-term projects like automation and new equipment commissioning.It's a hands-on role with real variety — split roughly 60/40 or 50/50 between mechanical and electrical work, depending on your background.

If you're someone who loves to “tinker” and thrive on improving how things run, you'll fit right in.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairsTroubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues across a range of equipmentSupport installation and commissioning of new machineryMaintain accurate logs of maintenance, repairs, and improvementsWork across systems like conveyors, chillers, weighers, mixers, and packaging equipmentMinimise unplanned downtime with fast, effective problem-solvingEnsure safe working practices and compliance with food safety and hygiene standardsContribute to continuous improvement projects across performance and reliabilityProvide informal support or mentoring to junior team members or apprenticesWhat You'll BringExperience in a multiskilled engineering role in food, FMCG, or manufacturingComfortable with both mechanical and electrical disciplinesSkilled in fault-finding, repair, and maintaining production machineryUnderstanding of PLC-controlled systems, sensors, VFDs, and wiringSome hands-on experience with welding, fabrication, or modification of machineryCalm under pressure with a proactive, problem-solving mindsetKnowledge of health & safety and food hygiene standardsCollaborative and clear communicator – great with documentation and working cross-functionallyWhat's In It For You?
