Key Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, plan work, and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Build, test, and iterate on solutions with a focus on reliability, safety, and end-user impact.
• Document methods, results, and decisions with clarity; communicate status and risks early.
• Contribute to a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical engineering.

Responsibilities by Position:

Test & Systems Engineers

• Develop system architectures, interfaces, and verification plans.
• Author/execute test procedures; analyze results and drive corrective actions.
• Own requirements traceability from concept through acceptance.

Data & Flight Test Analysts

• Design data collection plans; process telemetry and sensor data.
• Build repeatable analysis pipelines and dashboards; quantify performance vs. requirements.
• Translate findings into clear recommendations for engineering and operations.

Modeling & Simulation Engineers

• Develop physics-based and statistical models; run Monte Carlo and trade studies.
• Build scenario simulations and digital twins to support design and test.
• Validate models against ground/flight data and tune for fidelity and speed.

Manufacturing & Supply Chain Analysts

• Translate engineering intent into buildable work instructions and routings.
• Optimize supplier selection, lead times, quality, and cost; manage BOMs and inventory health.
• Drive DFM/DFA and change control across prototypes and production.

Program Analysts

• Build and maintain integrated schedules, budgets, and risk registers.
• Track performance (EV, CPI/SPI, milestones) and support customer reporting.
• Coordinate reviews, deliverables, and cross-team dependencies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer/Data Science, Operations/Industrial Engineering, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
• 2+ years of relevant experience (we have roles from early-career to senior; title/level based on experience).
• Proficiency with at least one of: MATLAB/Python, C/C++, SysML, SQL, or modern data tools; familiarity with configuration control and versioning.
• Strong analytical skills, clear writing, and an ownership mindset.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Desired Qualifications:

• DOORS/Jama, Model-Based Systems Engineering, flight test experience, PX4/ROS, Simulink, digital thread/PLM/MRP (e.g., Arena, SAP), earned value, DCMA/DoD reporting.
  
• Prior work at or with NSWC Crane or other DoD programs.
