Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n\nAuxo Engineering are looking for a multi skilled engineer with an electrical bias to join our client based in Selby, Yorkshire on a full-time basis. They are a leading sustainable packaging manufacturer with a strong presence across Europe. They produce high-quality, sustainable corrugated packaging for a wide range of industries.\n\nWorking hours: 06:00 - 14:00.
14:00 - 22:00 and 22:00 - 06:00 rotating weekly.\n\nSalary: £56,000\n\nAbout the Role\nYou'll start with a structured training plan, spending time across all areas of the department and working closely with our maintenance team. This will help you gain a full understanding of our machinery, processes, and procedures. Once up to speed, you'll join our 3-shift rotation, working alongside our experienced Engineers to keep production running at its best.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing\n\nTaking responsibility for your own safety and the safety of colleagues, following all risk assessments and procedures.\nWorking closely with Cell Technicians and Cell Leaders to maximise production output and minimise downtime.\nEnsuring machines are in top mechanical and electrical condition so we can consistently produce high-quality products.\nSourcing parts and services when required - ensuring they are cost-effective, right first time, and delivered on time.\nMaintaining a tidy, organised work area and following all health, safety, hygiene, and legal requirements.\nResponding quickly and effectively to breakdowns and completing repairs to the highest standard.What We're Looking For\n\nFully qualified apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer (Level 3).\nCity & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).\nMulti-skilled with experience in both mechanical and electrical fault-finding.\nGood working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.\nPLC and drive knowledge is an advantage.\nGCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) in Maths and English.\nPrevious electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Benefits \nyou'll be part of a supportive and highly skilled engineering team, working with modern equipment in a company that values investment in people and training.
