Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer\n\nLocation: York Area, North Yorkshire\n\nShift Pattern: Days (Monday to Thursday)\n\nSalary: £19.70/hour\n\nReporting to: Planned Maintenance Manager\n\n Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, to join an established client in the York area. You will be responsible for working on reactive & planned maintenance, to all equipment on site.\n\nMain responsibilities include:\n\nPerform Statutory and Preventative Maintenance on Plant and Equipment.\nResponding to plant breakdowns\nDiagnose faults on plant and equipment.\nCarry out Plant Repairs, rebuilds as required\nManufacture replacement parts as / if required - lathe / milling experience \nAssist in plant and equipment installation in line with design specifications.\nUse portable plant and power tools correctly.\nWelding / Fabrication\nFlexibility to work overtime if needed\nA good level of IT literacy to support the documentation side of the role using the company CMMS system.\nProven experience in a similar role as a Maintenance Fitter / Maintenance Technician\nLevel 3 NVQ Mechanical Engineering or similar, is preferable.\nUndertake additional training as required.\nExcellent time-management and organisational skills.\nFollow company safety systems and work protocol\nExperience with CAD / Solidworks, is advantageous\nExperience in Automation / Robots, is advantageous\nElectrically Competent - 18th Edition, is advantageousAbout Us\n\nWe are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
