The Role\n

As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of production machinery through planned preventative maintenance and rapid response to breakdowns. Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will help maximise plant uptime while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery.

\n

• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.

\n

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimise downtime.

\n

• Fault find on PLC-controlled machinery.

\n

• Work on conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics and pneumatics.

\n

• Support continuous improvement projects to improve reliability and efficiency.

\n

• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures.

\n

• Accurately complete maintenance documentation using the CMMS.

\n

The Ideal Candidate\n

\n
• Apprentice trained or hold an NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering.

\n

• Multi-skilled with both electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.

\n

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, FMCG or production environment.

\n

• Confident fault finding on automated machinery.

\n

• Knowledge of PLC fault finding would be advantageous.

\n

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

\n
